However, those who have been fully vaccinated would be allowed to travel within the area in which they arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Cambodian economy is highly dependant on the tourism sector<\/strong>, which represented almost 11.5 per cent of the country GDP previous to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/cambodia-nagaworld-remains-closed-due-to-new-covid-19-restrictions\">NagaWorld<\/a>, the only casino resort authorised to operate in Phnom Penh, suspended operations in March\u00a0<strong>after 11 staff members tested positive for Covid-19<\/strong>. It was\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagaworld-reopens-after-six-months-of-temporary-closure\">allowed to reopen<\/a>\u00a0a week ago after being closed for nearly six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagacorp-revenue-to-reach-40-of-pre-pandemic-levels-in-2021\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NagaCorp<\/a>, the company that operates the casino, reported that it expects<strong>&nbsp;to recover by 2022&nbsp;<\/strong>as long as NagaWorld resumes operations in the second half of 2021.
