Machines must display the 12-hour-clock in the bottom right corner of the main screen. The clock must flash at the start of each play session and at least every 10 minutes of the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rules state that <strong>the player screen should not have any secret touch focuses<\/strong>\u00a0or secret buttons. The DICJ says there are currently<strong>\u00a09,871 slot machines in Macau<\/strong>, including electronic table game terminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Macau restructures Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The DICJ has started its restructuring process by hiring new officials. The current DICJ director,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-adriano-ho-to-continue-as-dicj-director-until-2023\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adriano Marques Ho<\/a>, said the appointees will help the organisation in \u201cstrengthening its inspection capacity and in enhancing gaming-related legislation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>newly-arrived departmental and divisional chiefs&nbsp;<\/strong>will be responsible for capacities including legal matters and authorising the general guidelines for the city\u2019s gaming concessionaires, junkets, and gaming innovation, including any examinations that may be required.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-may-double-its-number-of-gaming-inspectors\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Macau\u2019s Executive Council<\/a>&nbsp;drew up a draft proposal to restructure the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) to<strong>&nbsp;increase the number of gaming inspectors from 192 to 459<\/strong>. The amendment also proposed adding an extra&nbsp;<strong>director of the DICJ<\/strong>&nbsp;to better develop tasks related to the coordination of the divisions within the bureau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marques Ho was appointed in May to replace&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-gaming-inspection-director\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paulo Martins Chan<\/a>&nbsp;<strong>after he resigned from the position<\/strong>.
