Visitors will need to show a negative Covid-19 test and undergo further testing during their stay in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor<\/strong>, Hong Kong chief executive, said Hong Kong had seen zero local Covid-19 infections for 21 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said the Come2HK scheme would have <strong>a daily quota of 1,000 travellers via Shenzhen Bay Port in Guangdong<\/strong>, and another 1,000 via the Hong Kong border crossing of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July, the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hk-macau-travel-bubble-delayed-again-due-to-new-covid-19-case\">travel bubble<\/a>\u00a0between Hong Kong and Macau was delayed due to a new case of Covid-19 detected in Hong Kong. Macau health official Tai Wa Hou said<strong>\u00a0more time was needed\u00a0<\/strong>to allow Macau to observe the latest developments in Hong Kong.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mainland China continues to be the only country to have a&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/covid-19-vaccine-passports-could-speed-up-macau-tourism-recovery\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">largely quarantine-free travel bubble<\/a>&nbsp;with Macau.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Singapore allows quarantine-free entries from Hong Kong and Macau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities in Singapore announced<strong>\u00a0an easing of certain Covid-19 restrictions<\/strong>\u00a0for visitors. Under the new measures,<strong>\u00a0visitors will be divided into four categories based on their travel history<\/strong>\u00a0in the previous 21 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Category 1 will include&nbsp;<strong>people coming from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, New Zealand and China<\/strong>. They will only be required to have a Covid-19 test and will not need to undergo a 14-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the case of&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hong-kong-quarantine-measures-to-remain-until-march-2022\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hong Kong<\/a>, the measure won\u2019t be the same for visitors from Singapore who want to go there as the country has given up a potential<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hong-kong-to-give-up-on-travel-bubble-plans-with-singapore\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;travel bubble with Singapore<\/a>&nbsp;and decided to<strong>&nbsp;extend quarantine measures until March 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Category 2 will include&nbsp;<strong>visitors from Australia, Canada, Germany and from Jiansu province in China<\/strong>. They will have to undergo a 7-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Category 3 is for people coming from<strong>&nbsp;Japan and South Korea<\/strong>.
