It will be the first border crossing for pedestrians between the two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-eases-measures-with-guangdong-to-increase-arrivals\">authorities in Macau<\/a>\u00a0announced a<strong>\u00a0relaxation in border entry requirements<\/strong> and an extension for the\u00a0<strong>validity of negative Covid-19 tests<\/strong>\u00a0to seven days for people coming from Guangdong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-expects-25000-visitors-per-day-during-october-golden-week\">Macao Government Tourism Office<\/a>\u00a0director\u00a0<strong>Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes\u00a0<\/strong>has predicted Macau could receive 25,000 visitors per day during the October Golden Week in the first seven days of October.
