According to the Statistics and Census Service, Macau&#8217;s economy grew despite activities limited due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-gdp-decline-slows-in-q4\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full-year 2020<\/a>,&nbsp;<strong>the economy declined by 56.3 per cent in real terms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities have recently announced that as long as the Covid-19 situation in Macau and mainland China continues to stabilise, the city will continue\u00a0<strong>easing travel restrictions from September 1<\/strong>.
