Travel agencies may <strong>resume sales of flight plus hotel packages<\/strong>, and tour packages for travel to other provinces, including Macau.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The measure doesn&#8217;t include travel to &#8216;mid&#8217; or &#8216;high-risk&#8217; areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the operator of Zhuhai Airport has said passengers<strong> are no longer required to show a Covid-19 negative test.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago, authorities in Macau also announced a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-eases-measures-with-guangdong-to-increase-arrivals\">relaxation in border entry requirements<\/a>\u00a0for people coming from Guangdong. The government also allowed an extension for the\u00a0<strong>validity of negative Covid-19 tests<\/strong>\u00a0for visitors from Guangdong from 48 hours to seven days.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities expect to continue\u00a0<strong>easing border restrictions as the number of flights rises\u00a0<\/strong>in the upcoming weeks ahead of October&#8217;s Golden Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-expects-25000-visitors-per-day-during-october-golden-week\">Macao Government Tourism Office<\/a>\u00a0director\u00a0<strong>Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes\u00a0<\/strong>predicted Macau could receive 25,000 visitors per day during the October Golden Week.\u00a0Mainland China continues to be the only country to have a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/covid-19-vaccine-passports-could-speed-up-macau-tourism-recovery\">largely quarantine-free travel bubble<\/a>\u00a0with Macau.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local media reports, the\u00a0<strong>number of buses crossing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is set to double\u00a0<\/strong>during the following days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bus is the only transport link between the two cities as the ferry services were suspended last February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June,\u00a0<strong>Alvis Lo lek Long<\/strong>, Macau Health Bureau director, had said that a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hk-macau-travel-bubble-to-go-ahead-if-hk-reaches-28-covid-19-free-days\">travel bubble<\/a>\u00a0between Hong Kong and Macau could be contemplated once Hong Kong passes\u00a0<strong>28 days without a local Covid-19 case<\/strong>.
