Now casinos have been allowed to resume standing bets at table games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore.- The government of Singapore has allowed casinos to resume taking standing bets at table games. <strong>Resorts World Sentosa<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0Marina Bay Sands<\/strong>\u00a0have also been allowed to<strong>\u00a0increase guest capacity from 25 per cent to 50 per cent<\/strong>\u00a0of pre-pandemic levels at non-gaming attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Singapore Tourism Board (STB)<\/strong>\u00a0said standing bets remain subject to safe management measures such as a 1-metre safe distance between individuals and a maximum of five people including seated and standing players, and the dealer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casino <strong>operators will have to follow \u201cSG Clean\u201d requirements<\/strong> for good personal and environmental hygiene habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/new-covid-19-cases-detected-at-marina-bay-sands\">Marina Bay Sands<\/a>\u00a0recently detected<strong>\u00a0new Covid-19 cases associated with a cluster of infections<\/strong>\u00a0at the casino venue. However, it reopened its doors after a two-week closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino operator said it had adhered to the highest safety, hygiene, and testing standards, often going beyond regulatory guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Singapore to allow quarantine-free entries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/singapore-to-allow-quarantine-free-entries-from-hong-kong-and-macau\">Authorities in Singapore<\/a>\u00a0have announced<strong>\u00a0an easing of certain Covid-19 restrictions<\/strong>\u00a0for visitors. Under the new measures,<strong>\u00a0visitors will be divided into four categories based on their travel history<\/strong>\u00a0in the previous 21 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Category 1 will include\u00a0<strong>people coming from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, New Zealand and China<\/strong>. They will only be required to have a Covid-19 test and will not need to undergo a 14-day quarantine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities will also start testing a\u00a0<strong>quarantine-free travel corridor with Germany and Brunei\u00a0<\/strong>for fully vaccinated travellers from September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the case of\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hong-kong-quarantine-measures-to-remain-until-march-2022\">Hong Kong<\/a>, the measure won\u2019t be the same for visitors from Singapore who want to go there as the country has given up a potential<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/hong-kong-to-give-up-on-travel-bubble-plans-with-singapore\">\u00a0travel bubble with Singapore<\/a>.
