The government in Singapore has announced that people coming from Hong Kong and Macau will not be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Singapore.- Authorities in Singapore have announced an easing of certain Covid-19 restrictions<\/strong> for visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the new measures,\u00a0visitors will be divided into four categories based on their travel history<\/strong>\u00a0in the previous 21 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category 1 will include\u00a0people coming from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, New Zealand and China<\/strong>. They will only be required to have a Covid-19 test and will not need to undergo a 14-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the case of\u00a0Hong Kong<\/a>, the measure won’t be the same for visitors from Singapore who want to go there as the country has given up a potential\u00a0travel bubble with Singapore<\/a>\u00a0and decided to\u00a0extend quarantine measures until March 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Category 2 will include\u00a0visitors from Australia, Canada, Germany and from Jiansu province in China<\/strong>. They will have to undergo a 7-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Category 3 is for people coming from Japan and South Korea<\/strong>. Travellers will be required to comply with a 14-day quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for Category 4<\/strong>, visitors will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine at places designed by health authorities and will have to undergo a testing regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities will start testing a\u00a0quarantine-free travel corridor with Germany and Brunei\u00a0<\/strong>for fully vaccinated travellers from September.<\/p>\n\n\n\nCasinos in Singapore to boost guest capacity at non-gaming facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
