The next day, the\u00a0<strong>daily tally of visitor numbers plummeted by 86.1 per cent to 1,800<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Macau carried out\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-mass-testing-ends-with-no-new-covid-19-cases\">mass testing for Covid-19<\/a>\u00a0in which\u00a0<strong>716,251 people were tested<\/strong>, all of them returning negative results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-eases-border-measures-with-guangdong\">Authorities<\/a>\u00a0recently announced an extension for the\u00a0<strong>validity of negative Covid-19 tests for visitors from Guangdong province to 48 hours<\/strong>.
