Solaire Resorts & Casino has announced that it has fully vaccinated its day-to-day staff through a programme that started in the last week of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.-\u00a0Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels’ Solaire Resort & Casino\u00a0<\/strong>in Metro Manila has announced that\u00a0it has completed its vaccination programme<\/strong>\u00a0for its day-to-day staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company started the\u00a0free jab programme back in June<\/strong>. It said dependents were now being scheduled for their initial dose<\/strong>. Up to five dependents of each Solaire employee are covered by the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another casino in the Philippines,\u00a0Okada Manila<\/a>, also announced the launch of a free programme to vaccinate all\u00a0<\/strong>of its staff against Covid-19\u00a0by the fourth quarter of 2021<\/strong>. The company will work with AC Health to vaccinate\u00a0more than 5,700 team members<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byron Yip<\/strong>, Okada Manila\u2019s president, said: \u201cHaving our team members and their loved ones vaccinated won\u2019t just keep them safer from the threat of Covid-19, this will also give them some peace of mind <\/strong>during this unprecedented and unpredictable time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMore vaccinated individuals mean we can contribute to managing the number of Covid-19 cases in the country <\/strong>while also helping with restarting the economy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomberry posts GGR of PHP5.67bn for the second quarter<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company which operates Solaire Resort & Casino<\/a> has reported gross gambling revenue (GGR) of PHP5.67bn <\/strong>for Q2, down 18 per cent when compared to the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation\u00a0(EBITDA) was PHP1.03bn (US$20.5m), down 31.2 per cent from the previous quarter\u00a0<\/strong>as the\u00a0Solaire Resort\u00a0<\/strong>was closed for 44 days due to Covid-19 countermeasures.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomberry reported net revenue for the second quarter of PHP4.71bn<\/strong>, down 14.7 per cent when compared to the previous quarter. However, the figure was up 400 per cent year-on-year. Its net loss came in at <\/strong>PHP1.16bn, which represents an improvement from PHP4.70bn a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
