(PAGCOR) has remitted\u00a0<strong>PHP2bn to the National Treasury<\/strong>\u00a0this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-remits-us28-3m-to-philippines-national-treasury\">PAGCOR<\/a>\u00a0<strong>previously released PHP1.35bn (US$28.3m) on May 28 <\/strong>and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-remits-php1-6bn-to-philippines-national-treasury\">PHP1.6bn<\/a> on May 12, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andrea Domingo<\/strong>, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO, stated: \u201cAs the global health crisis drags on,&nbsp;<strong>our government needs more resources to help mitigate the pandemic\u2019s impact<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our prudent use of our funds enables us to continuously aid the government in its effort to<strong>&nbsp;create measures that will help the country<\/strong>&nbsp;survive this very challenging time.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cash dividends for the year 2019 were PHP18bn ($374m)\u00a0<\/strong>while for 2018, PAGCOR remitted PHP16.17bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PAGCOR&#8217;s income from gaming operations down 20 per cent in H1<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-gaming-revenue-down-20-in-first-half\">PAGCOR<\/a>\u00a0revealed that\u00a0<strong>gaming income for the first half fell by 20 per cent year-on-year<\/strong>\u00a0to PHP14.7bn (US$293.1m).
