{"id":20768,"date":"2021-07-28T16:50:52","date_gmt":"2021-07-28T16:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=20768"},"modified":"2026-04-23T17:09:35","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T20:09:35","slug":"ape-expects-75-drop-in-revenue-for-h1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ape-expects-75-drop-in-revenue-for-h1","title":{"rendered":"APE expects 75% drop in revenue for H1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings (APE) has forecast revenue of HK$3m for the first six months of the year, down 75 per cent when compared to 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Macau.- Gaming technology supplier\u00a0<strong>Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings<\/strong>\u00a0(APE) has revealed it expects revenue to\u00a0<strong>decline 75 per cent year-on-year <\/strong>to HK$3m for the first half as the Covid-19 pandemic affects the group&#8217;s revenue streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the financial results of the company will be published on August 13, it has announced&nbsp;<strong>revenues from its main business units will all be down<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical sales and distribution of EGE products revenue is expected to be down by 79.6 per cent while<strong>\u00a0revenue from consulting and technical services will be down 40.7 per cent<\/strong>\u00a0and revenue from repair services will decrease 79.9 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In May,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ape-revenue-down-15-3-in-q1\">APE<\/a>\u00a0reported a\u00a0<strong>net loss of HKD4.34m (US$558,989)\u00a0<\/strong>for the first quarter of the year. <strong>Revenue fell by 15.3 per cent\u00a0<\/strong>when compared to last year, from HKD2.4m to HKD2.0m.
