Bernstein has reported that\u00a0<strong>Macau GGR for the third week of July\u00a0<\/strong>was down 14 per cent when compared to the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-up-6-for-second-week-of-july\">previous week<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to analysts,\u00a0<strong>casino revenue between July 19 and 25<\/strong> <strong>was MOP257m (US$32.1m)<\/strong>, compared to MOP300m in the previous week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new<strong>\u00a0wave of Covid-19 cases in neighbouring provinces<\/strong>\u00a0may have affected the arrival of visitors to Macau. The city recently imposed a 14-day quarantine on visitors from\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-new-border-control-measures-amid-covid-19-rise-in-china\">four Chinese provinces<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After announcing&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-imposes-controls-on-visitors-from-nanjing-due-to-covid-19-cases\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quarantine measures for arrivals from Nanjing<\/a>, the government of&nbsp;<strong>Macau announced it will take similar measures<\/strong>&nbsp;for visitors from the provinces of Jiangsu, Yunnan, Liaoning and Sichuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysts at Sanford C. Bernstein believe\u00a0<strong>Macau&#8217;s GGR for July will be down 60 per cent against pre-pandemic levels<\/strong>\u00a0and up 30 per cent when compared to June 2021.
