Authorities in Macau have recently imposed a 14-day quarantine on visitors from four Chinese provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Macau.- After announcing\u00a0quarantine measures for arrivals from Nanjing<\/a>, the government of\u00a0Macau has announced it will take similar measures<\/strong>\u00a0for visitors from the provinces of Jiangsu, Yunnan, Liaoning and Sichuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision was taken after\u00a0a rise in Covid-19 cases<\/strong>. Authorities said\u00a0visitors must undergo self-health management\u00a0<\/strong>and must provide three consecutive negative tests to gain a green health code. Holders whose Macao Health Code is red or yellow cannot enter casinos or other venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Macau government<\/a>\u00a0previously announced that\u00a0it will update its health code<\/strong>. Visitors from mainland China will have to provide new information on\u00a0vaccination status<\/strong>\u00a0and whether people have previously contracted Covid-19.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mainland China<\/strong> continues to be the only country to have a largely quarantine-free travel bubble<\/a> with Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the rise of Covid-19 cases in different cities, Macau said it will not change its current rules for\u00a0those coming from Guangdong<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As regards casinos, People\u00a0must wear masks and have their temperature checked<\/strong>. Other venues covered by the countermeasure include hotels and guest houses, restaurants, bars, karaoke lounges, nightclubs, saunas, massage parlours and health clubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
