The operator wants to host most slots instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the operator, <strong>there is little demand on gaming tables<\/strong>\u00a0due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the casino is losing revenue as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the move was\u00a0<strong>heavily criticised by anti-gambling campaigners<\/strong>. The Problem Gambling Foundation noted that <strong>table game hours had already been reduced<\/strong>\u00a0at Hamilton, Christchurch, Queenstown and Wharf casinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A spokesperson told Stuff: \u201cAs pokie machines are the most harmful form of gambling, we wouldn\u2019t want to see this happening.
