SJM Holdings is in negotiations to operate a casino at the new Cotai property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Macau.- SJM Holdings wants to operate a casino <\/strong>at the Lisboeta, located next to the Macau East Asian Games Dome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lisboeta is part of a bigger project, the Macau Theme Park and Resort<\/strong>, or Lisboeta Macau Park. The project is being led by Arnaldo Ho Yau Heng, son of SJM Holdings\u2019 executive director Angela Leong On Kei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news was confirmed by SJM Holdings Ambrose So to a Hong Kong newspaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO)<\/strong> awarded Lisboeta Hotel with a 4-star licence<\/a> last August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Cotai, SJM is also due to open the\u00a0Grand Lisboa Palace<\/a>, which was scheduled to open at end of June but now looks likely to take place in the third quarter of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company plans to open just one of its three hotels initially<\/strong>, with limited retail options. It will also open with 260 mass tables <\/strong>while the remaining 44 VIP tables will be launched in 2022<\/strong>, after the opening of the Versace-branded hotel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grand Lisboa Palace <\/strong>involved an investment of HKD39bn (US$5bn). When complete, it will have around 2,000 hotel rooms<\/strong> split between three venues: The Lisboa Palace Hotel, Palazzo Versace Macau, and Karl Lagerfeld Hotel luxury boutique hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It includes 27,000 square metres of gaming floor space <\/strong>(290,000 sq ft) for up to 700 gaming tables and 1,200 electronic gaming machines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SJM to manage Diamond Casino at the Holliday Inn Hotel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SJM Resorts S.A.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>has announced that it will manage the Diamond Casino at the Holliday Inn Hotel. The Diamond Casino is\u00a0one of SJM\u2019s satellite casinos<\/strong>. It holds 28 gaming tables and 48 slot machines, plus VIP rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
