India.- Delta Corp has reported a\u00a0consolidated net loss of Rs28.93 crore<\/strong> for the first quarter of the year. That compares to a profit of Rs57.77 crore in the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Net sales declined 64.1 per cent from Rs211.34 crore to Rs75.87 crore<\/strong>\u00a0when compared to the fourth quarter of last year, but were up 57 per cent year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company reported that\u00a0net sales from the casino division were negative<\/strong>\u00a0Rs34.55 crore while revenue from itsonline skill gaming division was Rs43.28 crore, up 9.7 per cent when compared to the previous quarter. Casino gaming revenue stood at Rs41.43 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delta Corp\u00a0<\/strong>has recently resumed\u00a0operations in Sikkim<\/a>\u00a0after temporarily suspending operations in the first week of May when authorities introduced a curfew\u00a0due to a surge in Covid-19 cases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities in\u00a0Sikkim<\/a>\u00a0originally planned to\u00a0end the curfew on June 14<\/strong>\u00a0but the rate of infection remained high for most of the last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Casinos in Goa<\/a> have been closed since April 29<\/strong>.
