That&#8217;s subsequently increased as Sands China requested three waiver and amendment agreements since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January, Sands China exercised an option to increase the<strong>\u00a0lenders\u2019 total commitments<\/strong>\u00a0by HK$3.83bn (US$494m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the new waiver, the casino operator has&nbsp;<strong>extended the period of the facility agreement from January 1, 2022, to January 1, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/sands-china-reports-revenue-of-us771m-for-q1\">Sands China<\/a>\u00a0saw\u00a0<strong>net revenue of US$771m<\/strong> in the first quarter, a 5 per cent year-on-year decline compared to the first quarter of 2020 but a\u00a0<strong>15.1 per cent increase from revenue of US$675m in the fourth quarter of 2020<\/strong>. The Venetian Macau contributed\u00a0<strong>US$340m<\/strong>, while\u00a0<strong>the new venue The Londoner reached US$137m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March, the company announced it was planning to\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/sands-sells-las-vegas-properties-to-focus-on-asia\">sell its Venetian casino<\/a>\u00a0in Las Vegas for US$6.25bn to invest in its Asian businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairman and CEO Rob Goldstein said: \u201cAsia remains the backbone of this company and&nbsp;<strong>our developments in Macau and Singapore are the center of our attention<\/strong>.
