South Korea.- The Jeju Dream Tower casino<\/a> will expand its casino staff by two hundred additional employees in order to ensure good casino management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lotte Tour Development said\u00a0it would hire employees in different areas<\/strong>, including for the casino floor, accounting, security, marketing, IT and gift shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jinhee Kim, Lotte Tour Development\u2019s executive vice president of human resources, said: \u201cWith the operation of\u00a0an additional 850 rooms in the second half of the year<\/strong>, we have decided to secure additional manpower, focusing on local talent.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since opening on June 11, the Jeju Dream Tower casino has received an average of 300 visitors per day. The venue recorded\u00a0over KRW5bn (US$4.4m) in sales\u00a0<\/strong>between the day of the inauguration and July 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Jeju Dream Tower casino has 5,367 square metres (57,770 sq. feet) of gaming floor<\/strong>. It has 141 game tables<\/strong> offering five types of table game, 190 slot machines, and 71 electronic gaming machines. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It also includes an ETG master table. The previous venue had 27 just tables and 51 machines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jeju authorities<\/a> have sent special casino game equipment inspectors<\/strong> to review gaming equipment in the casino and gaming sector on the island to control if it has been altered or if games have been forged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are eight foreigner-only casinos located on Jeju island<\/strong>, although only three of them<\/a> are currently operating, including the recently opened Jeju Dream Tower casino<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Together, the casinos have 446 electronic gaming machines, and the inspection will certify they are working properly<\/strong> to guarantee transparency in the casino industry.
