Macau.- The\u00a0Macau government\u00a0<\/strong>and Health Bureau continue to debate the\u00a0implementation of a scheme<\/a>\u00a0to accept quarantine-free visitors from Hong Kong from mid-July onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd\u00a0<\/strong>has said that it expects the possible travel bubble will allow\u00a03,000 fully vaccinated<\/strong> visitors <\/strong>per day during the initial phase of reopening. This would prohibit access to bars, parties and karaoke clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some 51 hotels have expressed an interest in Macau\u2019s plans to allow\u00a0quarantine-free inbound travel<\/a>\u00a0from Hong Kong. One of the key matters is the possibility of\u00a0allowing access to casino floors<\/a>, most likely with limits on visitor numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Macau health official Tai Wa Hou <\/strong>said the initiative would probably be launched once Hong Kong passes 14 days of zero Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Neither the Hong Kong authorities nor the Macau government has established\u00a0an exact date for the launch of a travel bubble<\/strong>, although analysts believe it could be announced during the second week of July.
