{"id":19738,"date":"2021-07-01T14:26:45","date_gmt":"2021-07-01T14:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=19738"},"modified":"2026-04-23T18:01:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T21:01:40","slug":"kingston-financial-posts-full-year-revenue-of-us265m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kingston-financial-posts-full-year-revenue-of-us265m","title":{"rendered":"Kingston Financial posts full-year revenue of US$265m"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Kingston Financial has published its annual results for the year ending March 31, reporting a 90 per cent decline in profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Macau.-&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kingston-financial-expects-90-decrease-in-net-profits\">Kingston Financial Group<\/a>&nbsp;has confirmed what it anticipated last week, reporting a<strong> 90 per cent fall in profits year-on-year<\/strong>&nbsp;to HK$56.2m (US$7m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>revenue for the year ending March 31 was down 22 per cent from HK$2.6bn to HK$2.1bn ($265m)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjusted EBITDA came in at HK$504.7m compared to HK$833.5m the previous year. <strong>Gaming revenue was down 102 per cent&nbsp;<\/strong>to negative HK$7.9m, compared to a profit of HK$382.3m in the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kingston Financial attributed the decrease to the&nbsp;<strong>drastic reduction in the number of visitor arrivals to Macau<\/strong> due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kingston Group <strong>runs two casinos in Macau<\/strong>, the Casa Real Casino on the Macau peninsula and the Grandview Casino on Taipa Island.
