Australia.- Authorities in Victoria have relaxed Covid-19 restrictions, <\/strong>allowing casinos and gaming venues in Melbourne to admit up to 300 people per indoor space<\/strong>, with a density limit of one person per 4 square metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of\u00a0masks will continue to be mandatory indoors<\/strong>. The measure is expected to be in place for at least another two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under new rules, indoor fixed-seating entertainment can open to up to 75 per cent of seated capacity, with a capacity of 300 people per space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria has reported a total of 50 active local Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crown Melbourne casino hall opens to members by invitation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Crown Melbourne<\/a>\u00a0has announced that in line with the Victorian government\u2019s\u00a0easing of Covid-19 restrictions<\/strong>, it will allow the return of guests to restaurants and bars, pool and gym facilities and retail stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The casino venue will be open only to members by invitation\u00a0only<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company also stated\u00a0face masks are compulsory across all areas <\/strong>except while eating or drinking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic<\/a>, pubs in the city of Melbourne have signed a petition against their insurers<\/strong> urging them to cover losses from the first Covid-19 lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group of pubs is claiming a sum of $26m<\/strong> due to the impact of Covid countermeasures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Locke<\/strong>, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority chief, said he has 120 Covid-19 business interruption insurance disputes on record, 21 of which have been closed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
