Laos.-\u00a0Covid-19 countermeasures in Laos<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>have been extended for at least 15 days<\/strong> until July 4 due to new cases in neighbouring countries. However, authorities said some rules would be eased to allow certain businesses to reopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the new announcements, shopping malls, retail shops, and supermarkets that comply with\u00a0Covid-19 prevention measures<\/strong>\u00a0may open. The government has also allowed activities and events with less than 50 participants and under social distancing rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Casinos and other entertainment venues will remain closed\u00a0<\/strong>at least until the end of current measures on July 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As in other countries<\/a>, land and air travel is likely to be allowed only for people who have been\u00a0fully vaccinated<\/a>\u00a0against Covid-19.
