Macau.- Macau authorities are considering easing restrictions<\/strong> on travellers from Guangdong amid a decline in the number of new Covid-19 cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Macau<\/a> has already announced that people coming from Shenzhen city and Maoming city<\/strong> no longer need to undergo a 14-day quarantine<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Macau resumed Covid-19 countermeasures<\/a> in casinos as a result of a rise in cases in the neighbouring province. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to Macao News, Leong Iek Hou, Health Bureau\u2019s disease control coordinator, said the government would constantly assess the Covid-19 risk to Macau from Guangdong before deciding whether to relax its current Covid-19 restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Leong Iek Hou also referred to the possibility of relaxation with Hong Kong and said it would be gradually implemented with limits on the numbers of travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
