The<strong>\u00a0Federal Tax Service (FTS)\u00a0<\/strong>will have the power to block sites without prior judicial approval for specific enforcement actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FTS will also publish a\u00a0<strong>blacklist of illegal gambling websites\u00a0<\/strong>and a list of payment service providers making transfers for such sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It comes as Russia advances with gambling regulation. In November, legislators voted on a bill to establish\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/russian-legislators-to-vote-on-single-gambling-regulator\">a single gambling regulator<\/a>\u00a0for the whole of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the main gaming hubs in Russia is the\u00a0<strong>Primorye Economic Zone<\/strong>. Officials plan to develop\u00a0<strong>12 casino complexes<\/strong>\u00a0there despite slow progress amid the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until late last year, the only casino operating in the area was Summit Ascent\u2019s Tigre de Cristal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shambhala Casino was the\u00a0<strong>second casino to open in Russia\u2019s Primorye Economic Zone<\/strong>.
