During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been receiving foreigners<\/strong>&nbsp;who are working in Vietnam and were unable to return to their countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vietnam has strict restrictions on locals entering casinos<\/strong>. Royal International&#8217;s Royal Ha Long Casino is not allowed to offer gaming to Vietnamese citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present,&nbsp;<strong>Vietnamese citizens are only permitted to enter two casinos:<\/strong>&nbsp;one on the southern island of Phu Quoc and the other in Van Don, in the northern province of Quang Ninh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/vietnam-casinos-ask-government-to-let-locals-gamble\">casino operators<\/a>&nbsp;asked the government to expand&nbsp;<strong>Vietnamese citizens\u2019 access to casinos<\/strong>&nbsp;to help casino operators face the loss of revenue from tourists owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
