Japan.- Police found 56 illegal pachinko machines<\/strong> in a raid on a pachinko parlour<\/strong> in Yokohama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to local media,\u00a0three employees were arrested<\/strong> and police seized 4.5m yen in cash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There were nine customers present at the time of the raid at the pachinko parlour<\/strong>, which had a double door to let people enter the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2020, the number of\u00a0active pachinko halls in Japan fell by 584 to 8,302<\/a>, a 7 per cent decrease year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The industry continues to suffer the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
