However, the opening depends on evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>South Korea.- The\u00a0<strong>Jeju Dream Tower<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>casino <\/strong>is ready to\u00a0<strong>open after passing a final inspection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April, Lotte Tour Development received\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/jeju-casino-receives-transfer-permission-from-governor\">transfer permission<\/a>\u00a0from the governor for the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>relocation of\u00a0<strong>Jeju casino<\/strong>\u00a0to the US$1.4bn new venue.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has announced\u00a0<strong>the casino will open in June<\/strong>. However, there is some uncertainty surrounding the opening as casinos are still struggling due to the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/south-korea-only-two-jeju-casinos-currently-open\">lack of tourism<\/a>\u00a0owing to\u00a0<strong>the Covid-19 pandemic<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/jeju-casino-opening-could-be-delayed-by-rise-in-covid-19-cases\">Jeju Dream Tower casino<\/a>\u00a0was expected to open in May, but it was delayed due to<strong>\u00a0new restrictions imposed by the government\u00a0<\/strong>after a rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino will have<strong>\u00a0150 tables<\/strong>\u00a0offering five types of table game,\u00a0<strong>90 slot machines, and 70 electronic gaming machines.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to local media, the casino operator expects to\u00a0<strong>generate nearly KRW300bn (US$270.8m)\u00a0<\/strong>in annual sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from the casino,<strong>&nbsp;Jeju Dream Tower includes a 1,600-room Grand Hyatt hotel<\/strong>, 14 restaurants and bars, a shopping mall, an outdoor pool, two spas and a top-floor skydeck lounge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lotte Tour Development has announced it is ready to open its Jeju Dream Tower in June.
