The Ministry of Health has reported&nbsp;<strong>12 new cases acquired locally, <\/strong>taking the total number of active cases in Victoria to 34. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to authorities, during the lockdown,&nbsp;<strong>people are allowed to leave home to go shopping for food and supplies&nbsp;<\/strong>or if they are essential workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facemasks are mandatory inside and outdoors&nbsp;<\/strong>and people can only exercise and shop within 5km of their home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Restaurants,&nbsp;<strong>pubs and cafes can provide takeaway services<\/strong>&nbsp;only, while clubs TABs and&nbsp;<strong>casinos will remain closed<\/strong>, along with swimming pools, spas, community venues, museums, and other indoor and outdoor entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/crown-melbourne-to-increase-capacity-as-covid-19-restrictions-ease\">Crown Melbourne<\/a><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>returned to a<strong>&nbsp;75 per cent capacity limit&nbsp;<\/strong>following a period operating at&nbsp;<strong>50 per cent,&nbsp;<\/strong>or one person per four square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also<strong>&nbsp;turned on electronic gaming machines and table games&nbsp;<\/strong>which were previously switched off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fines against Crown Melbourne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation has fined&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ilga-orders-crown-melbourne-to-pay-au22-5m\">Crown Melbourne<\/a>&nbsp;<strong>AU$22.5m (US$17.3m).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of that, $12.5m will pay for the regulator\u2019s inquiry into the casino operator.
