Resorts World Manila has reported net gaming revenues of PHP9.4bn (US$196.3m) for 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic and several lockdowns throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.-\u00a0Resorts World Manila<\/a>\u00a0has revealed\u00a0that gaming revenue was up 33 per cent\u00a0<\/strong>in the last quarter of the year 2020 when compared to the third quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company also reported\u00a0net gaming revenues of PHP9.4bn (US$196.3m) for full year 2020<\/strong>. Non-gaming revenue was PHP2.8bn. EBITDA was PHP425m ($8.9m)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casinos in the Philippines<\/a>\u00a0were closed for most of last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and they were shuttered again in March this year after the government announced the extension of\u00a0Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ)<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Metro Manila<\/strong>\u00a0until at least May 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resorts World Manila<\/a>\u00a0is one of the IRs PAGCOR has allowed to offer online table games and slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last July, analysts predicted\u00a0Resorts World Manila<\/a>\u00a0would\u00a0not return to pre-pandemic levels at least until 2022<\/strong>\u00a0as travel is restricted and customers fear contagion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
