{"id":17754,"date":"2021-05-11T16:56:24","date_gmt":"2021-05-11T16:56:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=17754"},"modified":"2026-04-23T19:38:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T22:38:36","slug":"wynn-macau-reports-us417m-revenue-for-q1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wynn-macau-reports-us417m-revenue-for-q1","title":{"rendered":"Wynn Macau reports US$417m revenue for Q1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Wynn\u2019s two Macau properties have reported nearly US$417m in operating revenue for the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Macau.-\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wynn-resorts-returns-to-positive-ebitda\">Wynn Resorts\u2019 Macau<\/a>\u00a0has reported US$417m in operating revenue for the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wynn Palace<\/strong>&nbsp;reported&nbsp;<strong>US$237.3m in operating revenues<\/strong>, down 9 per cent year-on-year from US$259.5m while adjusted property EBITDA was US$27.4m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wynn-macau-eyes-premium-mass-segment\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wynn Macau<\/a>&nbsp;reported&nbsp;<strong>US$179.7m in operating revenues, down 21.7 per cent&nbsp;<\/strong>when compared to the same period in 2020. Adjusted Property EBITDA was US$16.6m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Combined EBITDA was US$43.9m<\/strong>, driven by a premium mass led-recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Maddox, CEO of Wynn Resorts, said: &#8220;In Macau,&nbsp;<strong>we saw steady gradual improvements in the trend of visits<\/strong>, particularly reinforcing the\u2018 premium \u2019segment of the mass market in casinos, as well as in the luxury segment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wynn Palace VIP table game<\/strong>\u00a0turnover was 4.38 per cent, up from 2.91 per cent in the first quarter of 2020. <strong>Wynn Macau VIP table game\u00a0<\/strong>turnover was 3.25 per cent, down from 4.14 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Labour Day break, Wynn Resorts\u2019 Macau reached a hotel occupancy rate of 93 per cent and generated\u00a0<strong>US$3m of normalised EBITDA per day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Maddox, this was the\u00a0<strong>highest amount of normalised profit<\/strong>\u00a0the company has generated since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wynn\u2019s two Macau properties have reported nearly US$417m in operating revenue for the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":17769,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Wynn Resorts' Macau properties reported US$417m in Q1 operating revenue, with Wynn Palace at US$237.3m and Wynn Macau at US$179.7m.
