The visit could compound the losses in casino revenues in the end of the year, according to analysts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For David Green, Xi Jinping\u2019s trip to Macau could have a negative impact on Macau\u2019s VIP segment: \u201cI don\u2019t think visa restrictions alone have a material impact on the game\u2019s gross revenue. What can really have an impact, however, is the biggest concern about the growing vigilance and active policing, whether by preparation while the President is in Macao and even in the aftermath of the visit\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSome high value players may prefer to be left out during this period rather than being seen playing actively\u201d, added, and said that \u201cit\u2019s not the number of visitors that determines what happens to the game\u2019s gross revenue, but its value as players\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portuguese gambling lawyer Pedro Cort\u00e9s supports the idea of \u200b\u200bDavid Green. \u201cI completely agree.
