PAGCOR has announced that Solaire Resort and Casino and Resorts World Manila will now be allowed to offer online table games and slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR)<\/a> has announced <\/strong>that two more IRs <\/strong>have been allowed to launch online gaming products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news comes after Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment<\/strong>‘s Okada Manila Resort<\/a> became the first casino in Manila’s Entertainment City<\/strong> to be permitted by PAGCOR to offer online gambling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Solaire Resort and Casino<\/strong> and Resorts World Manila<\/strong> have allowed to run online table games and slot machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new licences will be regulated under a new system called PIGO (Philippine Inland Gaming Operator)<\/strong>, which allows operators to offer gaming services to players within the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR chairman Andrea Domingo <\/strong>said licences would remain with limits. She said: “Not just anyone can play because of non-proliferation and responsible gaming.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Land-based casinos in Metro Manila will remain closed until at least May 14 under the city’s Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) <\/strong>due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR<\/a> reported that gaming revenue fell by 51.4 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2021<\/strong>. It has asked the government to allow the reopening of casinos<\/strong> when current restrictions are lowered to \u201cgeneral community quarantine\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
