Just 48 hours after Crown Perth reopened after a snap five-day lockdown, authorities have imposed restrictions again due to new Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- Less than 48 hours\u00a0after Crown Perth<\/a>\u00a0reopened from a snap five-day lockdown on Saturday, the casino has been forced to close its gaming floor again<\/strong> following a decision by the Western Australian Government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gaming floor will remain closed until at least May 8. Bars, restaurants, hotel accommodation, spa, events and conferencing facilities\u00a0will remain open<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities in Western Australia announced new measures after three cases of Covid-19 were detected in Perth<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public venues, including community centres, galleries, museums and\u00a0recreation centres can open with social distancing rules<\/strong>\u00a0as well as certain indoor and outdoor entertainment venues including theatres, cinemas, and concert halls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nightclubs, stadiums and\u00a0casino gaming floors will be closed<\/strong>\u00a0until at least 12.01am on Saturday 8 May. The use of a facemask is mandatory inside and outside in public locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crown Perth said: “The safety of our guests, our employees and our community is the\u00a0number one priority at Crown Perth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In line with Western Australian Government health directives, Crown Perth\u2019s casino will be closed<\/strong>\u00a0from 12.30pm Sunday May 2nd 2021 until further notice. Our hotels will continue to operate in a reduced capacity”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
