Australia.-\u00a0Michael Sheenan<\/strong>, executive director of the relationships support service WA Relationships Australia, has called on Western Australia’s Royal Commission<\/strong>\u00a0probe <\/strong>into\u00a0<\/strong>Crown Perth<\/a>\u00a0to reduce the casino’s opening hours\u00a0<\/strong>and enforce the introduction of warning signs, similar to those on cigarette packets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n WA Relationships Australia provides relationship support services<\/strong>\u00a0for individuals, families and communities and works closely with\u00a0people who struggle with gambling problems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to ABC newspaper, Sheehan said\u00a0the WA Government invest more in public awareness campaigns\u00a0<\/strong>and that Crown Perth should incorporate clocks and natural light to avoid gamblers losing track of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said: “A lot of\u00a0problem gamblers who get hooked in<\/strong>\u00a0and lose a lot of money.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Western Australia’s Royal Commission<\/strong>\u00a0will decide if Crown Resorts is suitable to continue holding a casino gaming licence for\u00a0Crown Perth<\/a>. It expects to deliver an\u00a0internal report by June 30 and a final report by November 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
