Among them are press activities and information gathering in any form, tourism services (except for inbound tourism services for international visitors) and trading in goods and services subject to state monopoly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decree, which has already taken effect, specifies that<strong>\u00a0foreign investors are treated as domestic investors<\/strong>\u00a0in terms of market entry conditions when investing<strong>\u00a0in business lines that are not mentioned in either of the two lists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gambling in Vietnam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vietnamese citizens are\u00a0<strong>allowed to enter only two of the country&#8217;s casinos<\/strong>\u00a0and must meet strict criteria to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/vietnam-casinos-ask-government-to-let-locals-gamble\">casino operators asked the government to ease the rules on locals entering casinos<\/a>\u00a0as a way of boosting<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>revenue lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic and countermeasures.
