It was initially to last until April 14 but has been extended<strong> for two more weeks <\/strong>as the number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both public institutions and private businesses must\u00a0<strong>close their doors from 8pm until 5am<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Only essential businesses, petrol stations and emergency services are allowed to remain open<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>NagaWorld casino complex<\/strong>\u00a0in Cambodia remains closed since\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/cambodia-nagaworld-closed-as-employees-test-positive-for-covid-19\">11 staff members tested positive for Covid-19 in March<\/a>\u00a0and there is no news about a possible reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The casino operator had registered a<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagaworld-reports-positive-recovery-in-mass-market-for-q1\">99.4 per cent increase in average daily mass table game buy-ins during the first three months of the year<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>compared to the first quarter of 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Health has reported<strong>&nbsp;4,874 Covid-19 cases in Cambodia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cambodia\u2019s capital city has extended its curfew until April 28 as Covid-19 cases continue to rise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":16852,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Phnom Penh has extended its city-wide curfew until April 28 due to a surge in Covid-19 cases, impacting business operations.
