{"id":16827,"date":"2021-04-13T16:15:54","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T16:15:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=16827"},"modified":"2026-04-23T20:25:25","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T23:25:25","slug":"nagasaki-launches-new-ir-promotion-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagasaki-launches-new-ir-promotion-council","title":{"rendered":"Nagasaki launches new IR Promotion Council"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The prefecture has established an IR Promotion Council comprising 22 groups in the Kyushu region to create networking opportunities with local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Japan.-\u00a0<strong>Nagasaki\u00a0<\/strong>has announced the launch of its\u00a0<strong>IR Promotion Council to help promote\u00a0<\/strong>effective\u00a0<strong>business networking opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagasaki-to-form-new-ir-promotion-council\">Plans to establish the body were initially laid out last November<\/a><\/em> in a bid to create strategies and to\u00a0<strong>hold events and seminars for local businesses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>IR Promotion Council comprises 22 constituent organisations<\/strong>\u00a0including the Sasebo Municipal Government,<strong>\u00a0the Nagasaki Prefectural<\/strong>\u00a0and the Kyushu Regional Governor\u2019s Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kyushu IR Council said: &#8220;<strong>The attraction of an IR can energize Kyushu <\/strong>and with our own hands we can make a connection with the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are still in the midst of the attraction process. <strong>The first thing we must do is to win the area certification for Kyushu and Nagasaki<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the five initial contenders to become Nagasaki&#8217;s IR partner,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagasaki-3-operators-selected-for-next-ir-round\">three have been selected to advance to the next round<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oshidori International Holdings<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Casinos Austria International<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Niki Chau Fwu Group<\/strong> will enter into a competitive dialogue with the prefecture and city to be held\u00a0<strong>in May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nagasaki hopes to<strong>&nbsp;select its final candidate<\/strong>&nbsp;in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The prefecture has established an IR Promotion Council comprising 22 groups in the Kyushu region to create networking opportunities with local businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":16828,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Nagasaki has established an IR Promotion Council, comprising 22 Kyushu-based organizations, to foster local business networking and strategize for its Integrated Resort development.
