Former Skycity Entertainment CEO Nigel Morrison is the first new appointment since the Bergin Report found Crown unsuitable to hold its licence for its second Sydney casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Australia.- Nigel Morrison<\/strong> has received the necessary regulatory approvals to join Crown Resorts’ board <\/strong>as a non-executive director, effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Morrison previously held roles as CEO of the SkyCity Entertainment Group<\/strong>, chief financial officer at Galaxy Entertainment Group<\/strong> and chief operating officer at Crown Melbourne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Morrison is the first new appointment<\/strong> after the\u00a0departure of five former Crown directors<\/a><\/em> following recommendations in former Supreme Court judge Patricia Bergin\u2019s report<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to local reports, the inclusion of Morrison<\/strong> on the Crown board was a response to accusations that the board lacked real casino operations experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
