He was general manager of Paradise Walkerhill in Seoul until 2015, then vice president of Paradise Casino Busan. In 2019, he was promoted to CEO of Paradise in Busan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradise currently operates<strong> four casinos in South Korea<\/strong> \u2013 Paradise City, Paradise Walkerhill, Busan Casino and Jeju Grand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has recently reported a<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/paradise-co-reports-us98-4m-loss-for-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full-year net loss of KRW109.85bn (US$98.4m)&nbsp;for 2020<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradise Co. also announced&nbsp;<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/paradise-co-february-sales-down-36-5\" target=\"_blank\">February sales were of KRW17.38bn (US$15.5m)<\/a><\/em>, a <strong>36.5 per cent drop compared to January<\/strong>, which saw sales of KRW27.3bn (US$24.5m).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Choi Sung-wook has been appointed as CEO to replace Park Byung-ryong, who steps down after four years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":16379,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Paradise Co., a prominent South Korean casino operator, has announced the appointment of Choi Sung-wook as its new CEO and chairman, succeeding Park Byung-ryong.
