According to the Macao Government Tourism Office, total arrivals were 32,647 on Friday March 26, a year-on-year increase of 1,309 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Macau.- Macau continues to show small signs of recovery as the\u00a0Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) reports the highest single day and weekly visitor arrival totals\u00a0<\/strong>since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An average of\u00a027,120 visitors per day arrived in Macau\u00a0<\/strong>between March 20 and March 26, an increase of\u00a0109.5 per cent over the Golden Week holiday period\u00a0<\/strong>in February and a 77.7 per cent rise over the February average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The highest daily volume <\/strong>since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic was recorded on Friday 26 March<\/strong> with 32,647 visitors arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 1,309 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Macao Government Tourism Office has implemented an array of online and offline promotions<\/em><\/a>\u00a0spotlighting Macau as a healthy, safe and quality destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Macau authorities also announced that arrivals from Hong Kong will now have to undergo a quarantine of 14 days<\/em><\/a> instead of 21 days plus seven days of health self-management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
