However, Hong Kong, which provides <strong>10 to 15 per cent of Macau\u2019s annual casino gross gaming revenue (GGR)<\/strong>, continues its countermeasures due to a new spate of cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bernstein forecasts that <strong>GGR will reach about two thirds of its 2019 levels during 2021<\/strong>, although the VIP market is expected to be weaker, reaching only half of its prior levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Macau government&nbsp; announces stimulus packages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau\u2019s Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai Nong has announced that the government will launch<strong> new stimulus measures to help kick-start the economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stimulus package includes e-coupons and a cash bonus for residents.
