{"id":14778,"date":"2021-02-16T15:22:53","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T15:22:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=14778"},"modified":"2026-04-23T21:46:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T00:46:46","slug":"500-com-acquires-major-bitcoin-mining-pool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/500-com-acquires-major-bitcoin-mining-pool","title":{"rendered":"500.com acquires major Bitcoin mining pool"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Chinese gaming company has acquired Bitdeer Technologies&#8217; cryptocurrency mining pool business, including BTC.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>China.- The Chinese sports lottery services provider <strong>500.com has entered into a share exchange agreement <\/strong>with Bitdeer Technologies&#8217; Blockchain Alliance Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement involves 500.com&#8217;s purchase of all Bitdeer-owned shares in Blockchain Alliance in <strong>exchange for 10 per cent of its own newly issued class A shares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first transaction under the agreement is expected to occur<strong> on or before April 15<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal includes the <strong>BTC.com domain and wallet. The multi-currency integrated mining pool was established in 2016<\/strong> and is currently the gift largest of such pools.
