Also, he was announced as a member of the Audit Committee, the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, and the Remuneration Committee of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement was made on a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange also on Monday. The new director, 61, did a BA degree in law from Beijing University and has Masters\u2019 degrees in both public law and business law. He also holds a PhD in law from Bordeaux University in France and an LLM degree from New York University School of Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meng is recognized of being one of the best in China in terms of cross-border transactions. He has significant experience in project development relating to energy, real estate, and urban transportation sectors in China and has advised numerous Chinese and multinational corporations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/mgm-cotai-rise-casino\">MGM China<\/a><\/em><\/strong> stated that Mr Meng entered into a letter of appointment with the company for a term of three years. He will be entitled to an annual director\u2019s fee of US$90,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the new director, the MGM China Committee includes five executive directors, including James Murren, Pansy Ho, Chen Yau Wong, Bill Hornbuckle, and Grant Bowie.
