Australia.- Australian slot manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology has reported revenue of US$72m for the first half of its financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Th figure represents an increase of 71 per cent on US$42m<\/strong><\/strong> in the previous half <\/strong>but a 33 per cent drop year–on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company expects to report a loss before tax<\/strong> of approximately US$14m for the six months ending December 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revenue from Australia totalled US$19m<\/strong>, up 118 per cent on the previous half and in line with\u00a0the prior-year period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the US, AGT saw positive signs of recovery with revenue of US$41m, up from US$21m in the previous half<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company said it had seen strong performance <\/strong>from recently released products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
