The local government hopes to allow NagaCorp to advance with the construction of the US$150m casino resort in Vladivostok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Russia.- The government of Primorye <\/strong>in Russia<\/a><\/em><\/strong> has said it will push through permits for foreign workers to help Hong Kong’s NagaCorp bring forward work on its casino resort <\/strong>near Vladivostok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director of the territory\u2019s tourism department, Konstantin Shestakov,<\/strong> said the government wants to see progress on the development of the Primorye<\/strong><\/strong> gambling zone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shestakov said: \u201cDue to the situation with COVID-19, [Naga] was unable to bring the workers of its contractor from China. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We hope that with the support of the Government and with the stabilization of the situation in the world, the investor will be able to complete the construction of a wonderful facility.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the government official, the US$150m NagaCorp facility is around 60 per cent complete. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On opening, it will have a casino and concert hall, an eleven-floor hotel complex and a water park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Primorye zone is currently home to Summit Ascent\u2019s Tigre de Cristal<\/a><\/em><\/strong> property and the recently opened Shambala. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NagaCorp\u2019s new property along with Diamond Fortune Holdings\u2019\u00a0Imperial resort are set to open in 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
