{"id":14357,"date":"2021-02-08T16:29:20","date_gmt":"2021-02-08T16:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=14357"},"modified":"2026-04-23T22:00:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T01:00:09","slug":"ilga-to-publish-recommendation-on-crown-casino-licence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ilga-to-publish-recommendation-on-crown-casino-licence","title":{"rendered":"ILGA to publish recommendation on Crown casino licence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The New South Regulator will publish the report on its inquiry into Crown tomorrow (Tuesday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Australia.- The New South Wales Independent Liquor &amp; Gaming Authority (ILGA) has said it will make public its report on Crown\u2019s suitability to keep its  Barangaroo casino licence tomorrow (Tuesday.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former Supreme Court judge <strong>Patricia Bergin\u2019s 800-page report<\/strong>\u00a0could decide the fate of Crown&#8217;s bid to open its US$2.2bn casino following the ILGA&#8217;s <strong>18-month investigation<\/strong> into the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report will include a recommendation on whether Crown is fit to keep its licence for the casino, although the recommendation may not necessarily be accepted and implemented by the regulator, which <strong>will meet later this month to consider the report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commissioner Bergin\u2019s report will be tabled in the state -parliament on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crown has already opened the hotel, restaurants and bar at the new tower.
