Macau.- SJM Holdings raised MOP 2.86 million (\u20ac320,000) in a charity auction celebrated in honour of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Macau Special Administrative Region. The funds will be delivered to 10 charities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, a tradition of the company that has been celebrated for 13 years, took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Lisboa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Board members of SJM and SJM Holdings Ms. Daisy Ho, Ms. Angela Leong, Dr. Ambrose So, Mr. Timothy Fok, Ms. Maisy Ho, Mr. Arnaldo Ho and Mr. Louis Ng celebrated the evening with guests from Macau and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The high point of the evening was the auction of a giant 1,000-gram Italian white truffle. SJM was the successful bidder for the item at MOP 1.6 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
