The two companies have confirmed a partnership to compete for the Nagasaki integrated resort project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Japan.- Oshidori <\/strong>International development and US tribal casino operator Mohegan<\/strong> Gaming and Entertainment<\/strong> have announced a partnership<\/strong> to enter the bidding process for Nagasaki’s integrated resort plans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are four contenders in the race to be chosen as the private partner<\/a><\/em><\/strong> <\/span>for Nagasaki’s bid to an IR licence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other bidders taking part in the request for proposals<\/span><\/a><\/em> <\/strong>are Casinos Austria, Pixel Company <\/strong>in collaboration with Groupe Partouche<\/strong>, and a consortium comprising Get Nice Holdings and Current Corp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oshidori itself was already known to be interested but has now confirmed it will submit its bit together with the US-based tribal outfit Mohegan to benefit from its international experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Yemenidjian, the new CEO and chairman of Oshidori, said in a statement: \u201cWe are proud to partner with Mohegan on this landmark development opportunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Through our joint bid, we aim to highlight the rich culture and diversity of the Nagasaki area, and look forward to the positive impact this project will have on the entire Kyushu region.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohegan CEO Mario Kontomerkos, said: “We are honored to work with Oshidori International and leverage their team\u2019s unparalleled experience on this IR license bid in one of the fastest growing markets in the world”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
