All of them are located inside a casino resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three restaurants have kept their three Michelin stars, the highest rating in the international guide. Two of them are located at the Grand Lisboa casino, which has <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/grand-lisboa-hotel-recognised-in-chinese-wine-awards\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">won several awards for its restaurants<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/strong>: the Robuchon au D\u00f4me and the Chinese fine-dining restaurant The Eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other three-star restaurant is Jade Dragon, a Cantonese restaurant at Melco Resorts&#8217; City of Dreams Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>View also: <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-to-boost-visitation-with-large-events\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Macau to boost visitation with large events<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In May, <strong>Melco Resorts&nbsp;closed The Tasting Room<\/strong>, a French contemporary restaurant at City of Dreams Macau which used to hold two Michelin stars, due to its refurbishment of the N\u00fcwa hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau restaurant retaining two Michelin stars for 2021 included: Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, as a French contemporary restaurant at the Morpheus hotel tower, also at City of Dreams; and Feng Wei Ju, a Sichuan-style Chinese restaurant at Galaxy Entertainment&#8217;s StarWorld Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The others are Golden Flower and Wing Lei, two Chinese restaurants at the Wynn Macau resort; Mizumi, a venue specialising in Japanese cuisine at the same property; and Sichuan Moon, a Chinese restaurant at Wynn Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wing Lei Palace, a Cantonese fine-dining venue at Wynn Palace, has won its first one-star rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Restaurants retaining their one-star ratings in the 2021 guide include: Lai Heen, the Cantonese restaurant at Galaxy Macau; the Italian restaurant 8 \u00bd Otto e Mezzo Bombana also at Galaxy Macau; Pearl Dragon (Cantonese at Studio City); Ying (Cantonese at Melco Resorts\u2019 Altira Macau, Taipa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The others are: The Kitchen, a steakhouse at SJM Holdings\u2019 Grand Lisboa Hotel; Tim\u2019s Kitchen (Cantonese) at SJM Holdings\u2019 Hotel Lisboa; Zi Yat Heen at Sands China&#8217;s Four Seasons Macao; and The Golden Peacock, an Indian restaurant at Sands China\u2019s Venetian Macao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dropped from this year\u2019s one-star rating list were the sushi restaurant Shinji by Kanesaka at City of Dreams, which is also closed because of the renovation at N\u00fcwa; and King, a Cantonese restaurant in the AIA Tower in downtown Macau.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Macau has three fewer Michelin-starred restaurants in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":13862,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"The Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2021 indicates a reduction in Michelin-starred restaurants within Macau's integrated resorts, with 18 venues recognized, down from 20.
